Forensics Final: Medical Examiner
MOAS Conference
The MOAS Conference in Plattsburgh from 2017 was one of the most stressful applications of my Communication skills I've encountered. I had to utilize my conversation skills to question resolutions to social issues, and then speak in support or in opposition of the resolution.
For the final in my Forensics class, I was placed as the Medical Examiner by Mrs. Gore. This was a position outside of the groups, where I managed both groups' evidence and provided the evidence that was requested. Pictured is the sign-in sheet for one of the team's crime scenes, complete with badge numbers and time of checking in/out. This requires me to constantly communicate with the teams, and when they enter or leave the scene (this is actually a real practice in the world of crime scene investigation).
SUPA English Project: Scam Magazine
For one of the Major Assignments in SUPA English, I had to create a magazine that contained ten articles relating to a social issue today. I wrote about the ever-rising cost of college tuitions, and feel like it was one of my most researched projects to date. It communicates how it is a huge and still-growing issue.
